Opening of the first FENDI Store in Germany.

The new FENDI boutique, in 12 Maximilianstrasse, is located in an historical building from the 19th century located in Maximilianstrasse, one of Munich’s four royal avenues, framed by mostly neo-Gothic buildings influenced by the English Perpendicular style. An intimate and grandiose atmosphere invades the space. Design pieces and artworks combine with the Maison’s attention to detail in FENDI’s new home in Munich.

The ground floor features a dark stone pavement with intense blue highlights, hosting the Iconic Scenario, always visible from the entrance, leather goods and accessories area, featuring a coffee table by the iconic Italian designer Gabriella Crespi, and the Baguette Wall, a tribute to the iconic FENDI bag. The Baguette collection is presented on a wall composed of circa 30,000 bronze spikes, creating a visual effect where the bags resemble trophies and matter seems to disappear in a cloud of shining lights.
